About Ikebana in Thailand |
Ikebana Engineering Limited (Ikebana) was founded in Thailand in 1992 by Mr. Sanjeev Nabar, a technologist from Mumbai, India. Mr. Nabar graduated from IIT Bombay in Mechanical Engineering in 1972 and Post graduation in Industrial Design in 1974. Mr. Nabar worked with Centron (Dahanukar Group) as the Works Manager, in NELCO (TATA Group) as the Senior Manager Engineering and RAYCHEM (India) as the Works Manager before setting up Ikebana Engineering Ltd. in Thailand to manufacture high-technology, heat shrinkable cable accessories mainly for export. Mr. Nabar heads Ikebana as the Managing Director.
At its fully vertically integrated manufacturing facility equipped with a modern testing laboratory in Ratchaburi, Thailand, Ikebana manufactures heat shrinkable molded shapes used in termination system such as breakouts, sheds, boots, heat shrinkable tubes for medium / low voltage applications and heat shrink end caps for a complete range of cables.
Ikebana heat shrink cable accessories are widely used in over thirty countries across five continents. Ikebana is reputed in these markets for zero-defect product quality and responsive service. Ikebana's customers include leading companies in the cable accessory industry in Europe and other markets of the world. Ikebana termination systems and joints for cables up to 36 kV are designed and type tested to perform for indoor and outdoor conditions as per international standards.

The Quality Management System of Ikebana Engineering Ltd. has been assessed and registered against ISO 9001 (2015 Version), the scope being "Design and Manufacturing of Cable Accessories and Kits".

Ikebana has successfully completed the Environmental Management System audit conducted by Intertek as per ISO 14001:2015, the scope being "Design and Manufacturing of Cable Accessories and Kits".
